Thank you, ehow, for teaching me how to be a better friend using this new-fangled electronic mail.
- Funny Emails Friends enjoy joking with each other and sharing things that they have found funny to make their friends laugh. The Internet is full of funny stories and cartoons that can be emailed to your friends to make their day more enjoyable. You may even receive something funny from another friend, which you can pass on, or forward, to other friends. Check that you aren’t sending the email to someone who already has received it.

Choose a friendship poem to email friends to make sure they know you appreciate them and enjoy their company. Select a poem that fits your relationship. For instance, friendship poems can be found covering online friendships, best friends, long-term friends and friends that you would consider a part of your family. Receiving a meaningful poem from a friend in your email can really improve your mood.

Some stories that are spread through the Internet and email have an inspirational theme, detailing how someone down and out had his life turned around. An inspirational email can help a friend who is depressed, unhappy or upset. It will let her know that you are thinking of her and are there if she needs to talk. Inspirational emails can make your friend feel better and serve as a motivator in her life.

Optical illusions can leave you feeling confused and intrigued at the same time. Sending optical illusions to your friends through email can entertain them and give you something to talk about, either through email or the next time you meet. Send these to your friends while they are at work to help break up the monotony of their work day. Of course, some optical illusions can make your friend look silly to co-workers, but that can be part of the fun, too.
My workmate Savannah keeps me up on the latest ridiculous news stories, and for that, I thank her.
