“What Nietzsche should’ve said is ‘Whatever doesn’t kill you makes you watch a lot of Cartoon Network and drink mid-priced chardonnay at 11 in the morning.’” —Conan O’Brien in his Dartmouth commencement address. Worth the 24 minutes to watch the whole thing.

Holy cow, I was looking for the Jurassic Jaws song and found your old post. It had to be almost 20 years ago but the song is almost EXACTLY like I remember it. Google pops up a bunch of suggestions for it so there must be other people out there searching for it. Did you ever find a copy of the whole thing? Tom, blamer@gmail.com

Sadly, the “Jaws of the Jurassic” still elude me. I just can’t bring myself to drop $16.95 on this novelty song. But every now and then, I get a hankering and go back here and listen to the preview, and that’s good enough.

You can also go here, apparently, and download the song for $0.99, but it will actually cost you $5 because you have to put at least that much on your child’s KidTune account as allowance. Yeah…I’ve done a lot of research on this.

Best Lunch Break Ever
  • Friend: Do you think it's OK to leave my Wii in the car?
  • Me: If it's not in direct sunlight, it should be OK. If you had games or something, I'd say probably not.
  • Friend: Well, it came with games.
  • Me: Wait, did you just go buy a Wii for lunch?
  • Friend: Don't judge me.
