Last summer I borrowed the “My So-Called Life” DVDs and, like, I couldn’t stop watching them, you know? And for some strange reason I thought that the show, like, mattered, like, I would have some huge epiphany after finally watching a show that so many people had told me had meant so much to them. But I finished it and it just made me sad because it was just like all these things from the past - like flannel shirts and magenta hair and the ’90s - and it just made me sad or whatever.
