I Miss My Gender Studies Class

The other night on AMC, I caught “The Children’s Hour” (1961). The film stars Audrey Hepburn and Shirlie MacLaine as teachers who are accused of being lesbians by one of the students at their all-girls school. Of course, the word “lesbian” is never uttered, only references to “unnatural” relations and other such vaguery. Good movie that I’d love to be able to discuss with others.
